http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7340005.stm Well, drink brewed cat poop really. £50 ($100US) a cup? That better be the worlds best cup of coffee EVER. And thats not going into what it was made from...
If you read the article, they thoroughly wash the pooped out coffee beans and roast them. There's no actual poo, disease, or bacteria involved. I'd try it, if I had money to throw away and liked coffee.
I actually bought a good friend of mine some meerkat-shit-coffee for his birthday last year. £18 for a packet.
It's nothing new; they've been selling that a store in Vancouver for awhile now. I'm tempted to try it, but the price is just outrageous..
I'm gonna quit my job, buy a bunch of cats and feed them coffee beans. Then I'll dig through their litter boxes and sell the beans to the local Dunkin Donuts! We're rich, baby! We made it through the rain!
How many threads do we need about Civet coffee? http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=161997&highlight=civet
Yeah, I guess the journalist also saw The Bucket List and decided to do a little research to see if it was true. I guess it is. Love coffee. Will never drink that crap... I mean... drink crap.
