Check out tis sideswipe. I made a reflector beneath the clear plastic, to transmit the lights, so it lights up the whole head lights. It is easy to do, use some clear plastic (u can use the box of the toy or others if u stil wan to keep the box), fold it in shape and cut it, then find those shining wrapping paper or aluminium foil that ur mom used to cook. Glue it to the plastic and so on glue to the clear plastic headlights. Wiring blue led in his head, and the red tail lights. The tail lights is easy to be done because there is plenty of place to hide the resistor and led. Nth else more to say about it, jus feeling some difficulties to wiring his headlights, but finally overcome it. The blue lights come out from the robot's head. I like the effect, Like those I.C.E modification in the real car. If u dun like it u can simply cover it with black paint. As usual as u saw, tat is external power cord.
Nice, though I would want something that isn't using an external power source. However with that figure I'm not sure that there is enought room to fit a power supply anywhere., lol. Either way, it looks very slick my friend.
thanks man, If u dun like external power, u can mayb sacrifice his windscreen, paint it black or tinted it, over there u can fit CR2016 coin cell, but anyway it is very pain work for limited space.
At first glance, I thought to took a Sideswipe and painted him in Prime's colors. I was like Wha? This is awesome!
I love the way you pursue to have our toys to have electronic light ups! I cant wait when the time comes you finally solve where to put the power source! Keep it up dude!
Thx....Actually i dun plan to do internal battery anymore...all my electronic is built for external battery now. It is more ideal for me for long term display on my shelve. Thx vy much.... I think u can do tat, u got the patient to paint, Led is easier, jus buy more to test. Gain experience from that. Thanks......
