Update: Paxtin linked a screenshot of Brimstone on page 2. Check it out.
Brimstone - ROTF Main Line - Transformers Resources

A bike that looks rather similar can be seen in the garage scene right after Wheelie transforms. It's actually the bike that he hides behind before calling the dog 'Slobberpus.' Anyone else notice that?

Good eye! I really like how Hasbro uses a lot of the more noteworthy vehicles in the movies as inspiration for more off-screen characters.

Good find. I always think it's cool when Hasbro uses vehicles that were in the movie, yet not Transformers, as characters for figures.

Yeah, that's absolutely brilliant on Hasbro's part.

That is seriously pretty cool. Love it when Hasbro does stuff like Landmine, Longarm, and Brimstone. Now if they only made toys for the front end loader, the truss crane, and the articulated dump truck we saw in the desert scenes...

i'm just tired of getting awesome scouts and ok dlx's. I wish it were the other way around. But more on topic, on screen altforms and off screen characters are way too cool. lol Can't wait for more(just hopefully more than just scout class ) :(

Heh. I did not notice that during Toyfair coverage. Now I'm actually kind of interested in picking this one up.

Hightower I can understand since he didn't have a finished robot mode, but if Hasbro can make 2 dozen Bumblebee toys I don't see any reason why vehicles that were actually supposed to be Transformers like the remaining Constructicons couldn't at least get deluxe toys. Ah well...

I noticed Seaspray's hovercraft the other day while watching ROTF. It's at the end when some Marines are landing in the desert battle scene. (That just sounds weird)

I wouldn't say so, there's plenty of other bikes he could choose from.

I thought that too, but then I looked at it a bit more closely, and while it could've been loosely inspired, it's still a far different sort of hovercraft.

Hmm...didn't notice that before. Nice little nod. I'm not more interested in him, lol.

How? Not that I'm expecting Oilslick to turn up in the movie verse, let alone TF3, but I don't see how this would get in the way of him turning up at some point.

Oh, I'm not disputing that, just saying they can spare a space or two for figures based on vehicles that were actually supposed to be Transformers in the movie. I can't imagine Brimstone would sell any better than Overload or Scrapper, or a proper Elita-1.

I'm gonna have to agree here; especially since Elita 1 and Scrapper were actually in the movie in both modes, you know? I appreciate Hasbro making figures like this, Bludgeon, Mindwipe, etc. but I just find it confusing why they just don't want to finish the cast from the actual movie before moving onto off-screen characters. Heck, even the Insecticon is getting a toy.

    Neat.

I wonder if this was the inspiration for Hubcap?

IMHO, it has to do with Devastator not separating into vehicles that have their own robot mode.
Hasbro keeps saying that (at that size) it can't be done.
If they are going to release all the Constructicons, you'll have fan companies releasing an add-on set to combine them.
And when they do that, Hasbro looses an excuse.

Just to make clear, I'm not accusing Hasbro of not releasing stuff because they don't want to.
All I'm saying is, they have to have their reasons for certain "rules".
Even if some of them have been proven to be false or have been disregarded along the way.
Examples: realistic vehicle modes for Universe 2.0, you can't have all the seekers in 1 line because it won't sell, we can't do cassetticons because kids won't know what they are,...
If they didn't have these "rules" and "excuses" they would leave themselfs open for a lot of hate. And I think this way of working is their attempt to keep the focus on what they (can) do instead of on what they don't.

Just my opinion, don't shoot me.
