Shittttt, no wonder. I just bought all of the seasons and when I got to 4, I noticed that the BIG storyline had been concluded, what with the Vorlons and Shadows being shooed away like children. I wondered why they settled something so big, so early.
season 5 basically ties up all the loose ends on all the characters i completely forgot about brisco county jr.SORRY BRUCE.
mine are: The Tick Lone Gunmen Wonderfalls God The Devil and Bob Can't think of any others. Did not include AD or Futurama because they had at least three seasons. They are brilliant and deserved more, but they lated longer.
what, no teens/emo's in here to comment about "My So Called Life"? And sorry i forgot about a few. Some shows, when they were on, i was working tons and never saw em- Firefly was one. damn, i looked at my sig and realized that i had one just hanging in front of me- Sledge Hammer. Sadly it was a reflection of the 80s and so it was likely to die well before 1990 rolled around. I forgot how many seasons it had, but Max Headroom was nice. So was Crime Story. some shows i thunk were killed before their time- Pretender. Or V.
Futurama. They had to go and bring back the shit that Family Guy has turned into before bringing back Fruturama...bah.
Invader Zim. And starting to feel like Chuck and Heroes. Are those even coming back on or did NBC just can them?
Holy crap, someone else on this planet who remembers Brimstone. Such a waste that it got canned halfway through it's 1st series.
The Pretender was killed before its time by the writers long before it was canceled. Such a brilliant show, degenerating into unnecessary, incongruous weirdness...
Futurama is a big one for me also there was one with Jason Alexander(gerorge from seinfield) I think it was called listen up or something like that.
So many to choose... For now, I'm going to go with: Firefly John Doe The Flash Arrested Development (I've only just started watching this now) Traveler Camp Wilder Big Shots
Dead Like Me Strange Luck Invader Zim Legend Enterprise Clerks the Animated Series Masters of the Universe (2002) The George Carlin Show Dilbert Terrible Thunder Lizards
Babylon 5 was not cancelled. It got it's full five year run, plus a series of telefilms. And I have a hard time putting shows like Enterpise, Angel, Futurama, Gargoyles or Pretender on lists like this, given that they all had YEARS to find an audience. Hell, I'm a huge Arrested Development fan, but it was given three shots and never managed to catch on. Hell, they could cancel ER, The Simpsons, South Park or King of the Hill tomorrow, and technically they would qualify for this list. As for shows... How about Greg the Bunny?
Futurama, Lone Gunman and Dilbert. I expect Crusade would have made the list had it got another dozen or so episodes to get rolling. Verdict pending on Firefly since i've just watched the first couple of episodes. Fox and CBS better get thier arses to Mars about renewing Terminator and The Unit, those will be heading strait for the top of my list if they don't come back.
