Do you like Brick Transformers?
IMO, I like brick transformers.
What the hell are you talking about?
You know transformers that hardly have any articulation like Energon Wingsaber? those are brick transformers.
GN.1 Ultra Magnus
Not a whole lot of articulation, but one of the best Gn.1 figures ever made.
g1 bricks are fine; g2 bricks are ok... bricks past beast wars, NOT ok; with the exception of energon wingsaber because he's awesome
with g1; the majority of them were bricks,*heck even optimus prime is technically a brick; compared to tfa or rotf primes. and with g2; like megatron; the big green tank; he was amazing because of how big he is; and his canon is amazing ! but i guess beast wars spoiled us all after g2; with how possible they are. along with RID, but that is why armada was not that well recieved; i believe if armada had come out before beast wars it would would of been MUCH better liked *at least toy wise* but after coming out after such an amazing toyline like RID; but armada still has some great toys *even if most of them are bricks* though they should of tried to improve the line instead they took a few steps back.
fortunately with energon, then later cybertron, classics and tfa and the movie lines; they did continue to improve each toyline. which makes me wonder how wonderful the line after ROTF will be with how amazing it is.
They may be bricks, but they built my childhood.
Virtually all of my collection is G1, so yes, I like bricks.
Rather a good-looking brick than a piece of wobbly jumbled crap that can bend in over 9000 places
Ladies and gentlemen, that was IronicHide. Let's have a big hand for him. Try the chicken.
Bricks? Don't have a problem with them in G1. Better not see any now.
No. That is why I don't get into G1 too much.
Love G1/G2 bricks for their nostalgia.
Less keen on modern bricks, opened up Scalpel recently, what a let down, almost no articulation
So like those horrid RPM'S?
I do agree that older toys with little articulation are cool based solely on nostalgia. Other than that gimmie the 9000 point-lean them against the wall to stand up-kibble that is the modern Transformer standard.
End of Line
The G1 bricks I didn't mind because back then every toy except for GI Joe was a brick. 5 points of bad articulation was pretty much the standard on things like Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, He-Man, Thundercats and all the other big toy lines. Up and down arm at the shoulder, up and down leg at the hip, plus left and right at the neck were about all the articulation you could find back then.
I sold all my g1 on the basis of their brickitude
I have no problem with them, but I do enjoy being able to pose my toys. (And at first I thought he meant transforming bricks, like a spin-off of rocklords or something...)
Lol I thought Legos! I like my G1 bricks, but can't stand them in today's toys. In a time when Hasbro is giving us a 3 3/4" Darth Vader with a full 3 peice helmet that's almost exactly like in the movie with every joint of articulation there's just no excuse for a brick TF.
pre Beast Wars TFs are fine as bricks but after that with the exception of the figure already named its a no no but that said i love me some g1 and g2
i'd rather have a total brick like G1 optimus than a kibbly mess like beastwars neo big convoy.
although i'd rather have a half decent toy than either of them.
I have no idea what he means, but that poll is insulting.
not unless it's a particularly vile slur against your mother in Polynesian or something.
stupid, yes, insulting not so much.
Separate names with a comma.
