One of the most cinematic scores for a cartoon.

    Epic.

Listening to the first track right now. Amazing, even only a minute in. CD OR YOUTUBE NOW.

    Just plain epic.

    1. Transformers Prime - the main theme, of course.
    2. We Have Returned - the scene where the kids enter the base for the first time; when the Autobots arrive on the scene to find Cliffjumper and only find his horn; Soundwave reports Arcee's location; Cliffjumper's memorial.
    3. Prime Launch - the very first few minutes of the series where Cliffjumper speaks to Arcee, finds the Energon deposit, and is surrounded by Eradicons.
    4. Relentless Pursuit - I'm not sure. I've definetly heard it (obviously), but I can't recall what scene. But probably my favorite out of all the listening so far.
    5. Agent Fowler - obviously, where Fowler meets with Optimus in Darkness Rising Part 2; probably where Fowler shows up to chew out Bulkhead in Part 3; can't recognize the other parts. Possibly when Starscream orders Soundwave to kidnap Fowler, and Fowler's aerial battle with the minion.
    6. Autobot Stratagum - when Optimus introduces himself to the kids in Darkness Rising Part 1 ("We are autonomous robotic organisms...") and Megatron's return at the episode's conclusion. This piece also plays in Masters and Students when Starscream gives his speech (specifically from "Allow me to explain" onwards)
    7. RC on the Move - obviously, when Arcee was on the streets of Jasper in Darkness Rising Part 1, and later Arcee and Bumblebee Vs the Eradicons, and Bulkhead breaks up the fight by simply appearing! As well as several other fight scenes during the series - the Autobots in the Energon mines, Bulkhead fighting the Eradicons on the Nemesis' hull in DR Part 4, and I'm sure plenty others.
    8. The Decepticons - Too many scenes with the Decepticons to count.
    9. Finale Part I - I just know it's from DR Part 5. Listening longer reveals it's the fight between Optimus and Megatron in Part 5, and the sabotage of the Space Bridge. I think it's also the Wheeljack Vs Makeshift fight in Con Job.
    10. Finale Part II - The Autobots return to base after the space bridge's destruction in DR Part 5, Arcee recovers, Fowler thanks the Autobots, and Optimus' final speech.

Positively EPIC. The best score I've heard off of a show in a good long time, if ever. This is the only thing Beast Wars never had - a unique and EPIC score (BW only had recurring guitar riffs and some, "Dun duuunn, dun duuuun!" choir chants, I'm afraid). If you've heard the movie score, you know what to expect. It's appropriately "Transformers-y" and perfectly fits the epicness of this series.

    EPIC.

Best score for a cartoon. Ever. Epic.

My views: "Transformers Prime" (the score of that name is the best), but "Prime Launch" is quite good. "Relentless Purusit is pretty great" - but where does it come from? I don't think it's from the one where they transport the implosion bomb. Well, maybe - when Prime is at the end messing with the train.

    Either way, CD nowwww!

I'd buy a cd. An mp3 rip will do in the meantime.

    YouTube (Custom URL):
You can easily record it straight from the site if you have

    1. A program that can record from a microphone
    B. A place to plug in a microphone and another for speakers
3rd. A cord that plugs into said holes, with the same tip on both ends (that's the bit where I'll be losing many of you)

Just plug one end of your special cord into the headphone/speaker spot, the other into the microphone hole, press "record" on your little program and press "play"! (it helps to set the computer to about 15-25% volume to avoid blastification.)

I would so buy this CD.
Would be great to have this in the background while me and a friend play some Claustrophobia or Necromunda or other awesome (non-computor) game that really benifits from dark mood music like this.

It would be pretty stupid if they don't release a CD of this.

In today's music market? The movie scores were hard enough to get, and they had the movies behind them.

I could see an Itunes release, but a CD? That'd be a sure money-loser.

Quite possibly the most epic score for a cartoon series I've ever heard! The music has a big part to play in giving the show its movie feel. Loving it!
