I've seen a lot of love for Breacher around here. My question: really? His torso doesn't lock into his lower body. His limbs pop off. I guess I am just wondering if I got a dud or if there's something I'm missing about this figure. Tell me what it is you like, if you do like something.

Mine doesn't. Likely a dud. He's one of the best Scouts.

If you can't see it, I don't know what to say to you.

In my sample the torso doesn't exactly lock, but it more or less stays put. Some of the arm joints can pop off if you don't go about transformation in the correct sequence. On a lesser bot, this stuff would be more of a deal, but Breacher just gets so much, so right that any quibbles can be easily overlooked.

Look at the proportions, the transformation originality, the sharpness of the sculpt. Look at the mechanical detailing on the inside of the legs, the back of the torso. Compare it to most other scout class figures, powercore combiners, etc. It's just a cut above.

I love his how pose-able he is. his head sculpt is very super robot-ish which I have a sweet spot for. and his non-locking waist can be used as a bit of an ab crunch.

He's got crazy articulation for his size. He has more than some deluxe figures. Also, c-clip system, c-clip system everywhere

My answer: yes, really. The figure is sweet, wicked posable, and chock full of detail.

Torso not locking either means you're doing it wrong (there is a T-shaped piece necessary for locking that is very easy to overlook - I had the figure for a week before noticing it) or you got a dud.

Limbs popping off means you got a dud - I've never had that problem with the three I've handled.

no he didn't, his has the same problem that EVERY single breacher has, there is a part of him that simply DOES NOT TAB THAT SHOULD, a problem everyone who loves him ignores and instantly declares dud. the upper torso does not peg into the botton half of the figure, it just sits in a groove

breacher is a horrible figure that is way overhyped, the ONLY transformer i ever regret buying

and i even love armada smokescreen and cybertron backstop

his articulation is not good, the way his shoulders were design are horrible, the arm guards are a pain in the ass, and his legs are a panel-y mess

    I HATE BREACHER!

So....since mine locks rock-solid does that mean I got the dud?

i remember when i first got him I thought there was a problem with his torso- then i realized there was a piece that i didn't flip in his waist before transforming. worked much better after.

    oh he's amazing

Mine has no torso-lock (I'm doing it right, trust me), stiff joints that cause the torso to come unlocked when posed, and the fact that it will not stay together in vehicle mode. Also, the lack of a thigh swivel and the design kills the leg articulation for me.

Other than that, he's okay. Nowhere near as good as the glorious Hubcap, though.

Yeah, but on my example, there's enough joint tension that it stays put and so is not a problem. Was that joint loose on your figure?

This is usually a pet peeve for me when figures don't peg together, so I can understand that being a frustration, but in this case it really wasn't an issue.
