My first attempt at a custom transformer. Took an Energon Strongarm and added some new hands, re-sculpted head, added swivel joints to legs, added a new chest, and then threw on some extra fire power.

This mold suits Brawn perfectly! Sweet-ass Job CosmicKid! :thumb  I really need to make my own Brawn from this mold one day. I heard somewhere that a good head might be Classics Cyclonus minus his ears but the head might be a bit too big... [IMG]

100% Cool...nice take on Brawn! I used the same mold a LONG time ago, but you outdid yourself with this one. Wonderful mods and very well done paint apps.

    Welcome to the show...

It's a shame that you tore apart several far more expensive Gundam kits and figures just to tack their pieces onto that Strongarm, but it looks okay. Maybe work on making the chestplate really fit with the torso more w/ some putty or something.

If I'm correct, that chest is from a MG ZAKU II (first version), its probably the cheapest master grade kit you can buy...

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, my first custom TF. Being a huge TF fan and seeing some of the amazing work on these forums, I just had to try it out. I have a few more on my workbench in the Studio so hopefully I'll have some more to show soon.

Funny about the gundam kit comments, I had a few old models laying around that were falling apart and I had done crappy paint jobs on years back, so the sacrifice was well worth it, it wasn't a super expensive kit. Besides this is a TFs forum, what's with the Gundam love. The only good gundams are the ones I can tear apart and use for kitbashing:)  Just kidding.

    Thanks again for the comments.

Excellent mold choice and even better execution. The weathering is spot on and works great for Brawn.
