OK. Here's something I whipped up today. Figured it's about time I tried a bot not featured in the new movie. I really wanted to get a lot of the G1 cartoon Brawn into this face. The toy is a little on the cold side. The cartoon face capured a lot of his character. He's a tough guy, but not too serious. I had a lot of fun with this one. This one and the Ironhide may be my personal favorites so far. I did try a "Battle Mode" version as well. It's basically the toy design applied to what you see here. Nothing fancy. Kinda boring actually. May play with it some more before I post it. Maybe tomorrow. As always, thanks for taking a look and for and comments you might like to share.
You don't know how right you are. The white highlights that rim light Brawn's head are from Vader's helmet.
Here's a "Battle Mode" version. More G1 toy inspired than the first. I like the first version better. Shows more character. But thought I'd give this version an attempt at least.
Yep. Did full shots of Megatron and Strarscream and an alternate paint scheme (flameless) for movie Prime's truck mode as well as movie Prime bot mode tweaks. Hope to do more in the future.
Awww man, I can't wait till somebody attempts to animate one of these "battle masks" THE CHROME,,, THE CHROME!!!!! But I was hoping for a few more hard points. Didn't Brawn have a "Mustache plate"? Edit: the cartoon Brawn had definition lines from the sides of his nose to the middle of each cheek. I think one of the DW books made it look more like a muttonchop mustache though.
