This is a Brawn I am making from Smolder. I used the head of Breacher and cut the ears off. I think im just looking for some opinions like...is this working so far?

I think it works so far. I'd say that it would fit Brawn better to use flat paints, though. Brawn just seems to me to be one of those guys who couldn't give a crap less about his paint job, so I don't think he'd be shiny and metallic any time soon.

    Still, cool concept. :)

I hear ya, ill look into that. I guess since im trying to do the entire g1 season 1 rosters...I was looking into creating a kind of modern more metallic look for the original cast. Something that didnt come off as too toony, 2 Parts g1, 1 Part IDW, 1/16 part live movies(for metallic highlights inspiration)... I also have a huffer and others ill post in a bit.

    Wow, I really like this!!
That head is really spot on for Brawn and (grabs her Smolder who was laying around cause she was after the gun-chest-dude) Hey, the alt-mode really also works!
I can see why you're using the metallic paints, BTW
Maybe use quite a bit of dry brushing on him, though? Make the paint thus look worn?

It looks good. I'm just not getting a Brawn vibe from it.

It's not quiiite Brawn, imo. Although the choice of Breacher;s head is a good one, I think it could do with fleshing out at the sides just to really emphasise the dome head. If it ends up too big to fit in the chest cavity would it be possible to make the hatch/space larger to fit his head?

The paint needs some work, but this is definitely a great idea.

It definitely needs more Brawn-ish features. I think another head would work. It's just too bad that 2.0 Cyclonus head sans rabbit ears is too big.

EDIT - A Classics Mirage head might work. It's smaller than your typical deluxe and looks okay on scouts.

I like it. I do agree with Treadshot A1 that you should use flat paints.Nice work.
