Are there any Decepticon size charts for 1st movie characters? I was watching the movie again, and just before Ratchet jumped over Brawl to slice off his arm, it almost looked like they were the same height. Questions? Comments? Compliments?

Judging from when Jazz jumped him I'd say he's about between Optimus and Ironhide.

That sounds about right. He's a bit more thickly built, though, which accounts for his alt mode being bigger.

Although Brawl doesn't have an official height, I'd say that it's safe to assume, as SPLIT LIP said, between Ironhide (22 ft.) and Optimus Prime's (28 ft.) height. My guess was always around the 25 foot-mark, but of course, being very bulky and much, much heavier than either of those Autobots.

In the screenshots forum, this image was posted from Jeremy Cook's art or something. (Hopefully the link works. If not, the image is on page 58 of that huge thread...) Now, obviously Frenzy is not to scale with the other renders, but I think that the larger three (Megatron, Brawl and protoform Optimus), are all to scale with each other, with Megatron being 35 feet tall, Optimus being 28 feet tall, and according to the image, Brawl being about 28 feet tall as well.

Well, the M1 Abrams is about 26 feet long, and it's a very thickly built bot mode, so I'd say the movie got the scale right with him.

There's always a law to follow when guessing a Transformer's hieght.
    Alt mode length= robot height
Ex: Optimus Prime: 28 feet tall=Truck 28 feet long

Except for aero-based transformers like Starscream and Blackout. Their hieght is half of their alt mode due to their transformation.
Ex: Blackout: 44 feet tall=MH53 Pavelow 88 feet long

This can be supported by Blackout (Grindor actually but they're using the same character model) and Starscream's depiction in the Forest Battle.

All I know is that Brawl is fucking dope. My favorite tf'er behind Ironhide and Starscream.

Hmm, I had always hoped he'd be something like between Blackout and Prime, but like you all mentioned, he is thick. Either way, he's my favourite in both movies. Thanks all.

Well *from both movies. Then my other favourites include Ironhide and Long Haul.

I find myself wishing they'd make a new, Voyager class figure of him. Partly because of this notion that he'd be between Optimus and Ironhide in height, partly because of how awesome recent Voyagers like Bludgeon and Long Haul have been, but mostly because it wouldn't have electronics and clear plastic missle pods like the Leader figure.

He really is not that thick when you remove the weaponry. I just watched the film a couple days ago and noticed how thin he is when he was hit and did that silly backflip. I kinda wondered why his little titanium figure was so thin compared to the toys.

The clear missile pods are somewhat annoying, but the toy's electronics are some of the least debilitating ever. Remove the batteries, and you'd never know they were there.

Something doesn't seem right about that chart. Starscream should be a bit larger (So his chest canopy matches with the cockpit on the F-22 outline behind them) and Blackout should be atleast another 10' feet in hieght.
