I don't know if this topic has been done already, but does the Transformer movie DVD still use Devastator for Brawl's name or did they corrected it?

It's Devastator. Accept it and move on.

It is Devastator, but just in the film.

I think it should be Devastator all round, and Hasbro should've changed their products.

Devastator sounds so much more "Devastating" than Brawl. And it totally fits him. All my "Brawls" are Devastator in this house.

All versions of the DVD released so far use "Devastator."

    Devastator sounds better anyway.
Brawl? Only that Nintendo game makes Brawl sound good.

But using the name, prevents them from using the real Devastator if they ever decide to use him for the movie

Not really. The name was used once in one of the subtitles of the movie, so most people won't remember it at all. Also, if they are going to do a combiner in the movie univers, I personally think that they should make up a new one, instead of rehashing an old one. But, if they do end up using an older one to homage, I hope that they would go with someone other than Devastator, as he's been done plenty of times before. How about Menasor? That would be interesting.

Using CAPS LOCK to give emphasis doesn't mean I'm attacking you or anything.

New one would be the best choice.
Would avoid both the "Devastator's name and Bonecrusher's dead" thing and no fans complaining about how BIG BOT X LOOKS NOTHING LIKE BIG BOT X DID IN SHOW Y

True, but we'll just have to wait and see what they will do for Transformers 2
