She didn't CORDONE what he did, What, is she a ******ed cooking show dropout? the word she couldn't find was "condone". My mom has driven a school bus for over 20 years and seeing this, makes me wish she'd carry a stun gun. This scares me. the kids don't fucking care anymore. Personally, i don't give a damn if he is Bipolar, schizo, has Munchausen's or keeps his brain in a jar at the Mayo Clinic; the bus driver should have let the boy turn his back and she should have stuck a stun gun to the base of his skull and fried him. as he was foaming at the mouth and still twitching, he shoulda been beat within an inch of his life. I bet you despite his mental illnesses he had at least one moment of lucidity. He thought he was tough as hell beating on her. sorry, but the boy is a pussy, a loser and doesn't deserve to even ride the short bus. rant over, i suppose. gah. i actually got sick watching this.
Kids NEVER cared. But sounds to me like your a little too biased because your mother is a bus driver also. Personally, I remember quite a few bus drivers growing up that deserved to get knocked the fuck out.

This. I've seen several bus drivers openly let a kid get harassed to the breaking point and do nothing about it, even AFTER the parents get involved. One time one of my drivers even had the balls to talk shit about my mom. I didn't hit her, but she was a terrible driver and even worse of a person. Hell, they don't even know what they're doing down at our district transport. Somebody called my house yesterday from their office saying I was transferring to the wrong bus after school. I'm like "you idiots, I'm 18 years old, I DRIVE,".
Yes, because that would be so much more moral. Self defence is one thing, that's just stupidity. I've yet to see a bus driver who actually treated his passengers like customers. More like a chore than a paid job. And just one thing - I though bus drivers got a little screen and wall between them and the unwashed masses?
Ok it doesnt matter that any of yall knew a bus driver that was terrible it doesnt give anyone the right to just go and hit someone like that. Maybe that bus driver was good at there job.
I wish bus drivers did carry tasers. Would see kids flying out of bus doors from being tased Sometimes bus drivers are psycho, but other time's kids are out of control. Kids are bringing handguns to school now, and the bus driver is also responsible for other kids on that bus , so when one gets out of line....
I never justified the kid's actions. If you got what I meant out of my post you'd know that I was just pointing there are a lot of shit bus drivers out there.
My brother happens to be a sub bus driver for our local school system. Of the times he's driven a bus full of kids, he's never had a single problem.
Back then when I was riding the school bus, the school bus drivers were old ladies and they were not afraid of anybody. I remember several times the school bus driver would get out of her driver seat and walked back of the bus to confront the student.
That kid should be banned from riding school buses after pulling a stunt like that. On a side note, I can imagine Bart Simpson to doing the exact same thing to Otto the Bus Driver.
I am a substitute bus driver, and as soon as he approached me the first time I would've stopped the bus and gotten out of my seat. Then called in to dispatch. If he came at me again, he wouldv'e caught a tire buddy upside the skull. I've dealt with some unruly kids on occasion, but never like this. Of course, that little coward probably wouldn't try that s**t with me, since I'm 6'5", 230lbs and not a woman. And I think his a$$ should get whupped repeatedly for that, weather or not Mom "cordones what he do".
dunno about the rest of you, but my bus driver in high school was pretty fucking rad. pretty much like otto without the terrible driving and getting blotto.
