    Something doesn't add up. If it was a misdiagnosis, why wait 10 years before coming back? Why didn't he get a second opinion right away? I sure as hell would have.

    How the hell can you be misdiagnosed with HIV for 10 years?

    I've read that there are rare cases where the virus can disappear from patients.

    If that's the case, then it's possible the initial positive was accurate, and eventually the virus left his body, but I'll admit that I haven't educated myself on that subject much.

    My guess is that he has a strong enough drug cocktail that the virus goes unnoticed. You would think the drugs would come up though. He's making it sound like he got tested once, and they screwed it up. I don't see how that could happen. If you are positive, and are treated for it, you would think they would do multiple tests throughout the past 10 years.
