News Post: Boulder Media Hunting For Talent Across Europe For The Animated Feature Film
FYI, this being Ireland's first CG film is a huge step forward for their animation scene. They've already made several acclaimed 2D films and shows, and this will hopefully put them on another level.
In the films everything on Cybertron is silver or gray. Maybe some copper highlights occasionally.
Doesn't sound exciting for a show based on Cybertron.
Yeah, they're totally not going to give it a redesign to look more visually appealing.
So this is for the live-action movie universe? Maybe there's still a chance for the script I'm working that's more universal of the franchise as a whole.
I'm looking forward to seeing this movie and news as it progresses. It should be a cool installment in the movieverse!
finally what we've wanted: 'live-action' series TFs without humans!
Какой на хрен Габриэль Феррари? Где Эрэн Крюгер??? banghead:
If I had to take a wild guess, I'm assuming maybe a 2021 or 2022 release date.
Yeah sad day to see the Bayverse getting animated. His mission to ruin Transformers for long time fans is nearing completion. Like seeing the Death Star under construction yeesh.
What they need to do is do like the DC animated films, and do a bunch set in a G1-inspired continuity, or adapting existing comic entries...
-Last Stand of the Wreckers / Sins of the Wreckers
-Till All Are One
Or hell, any of the IDW comics properties:-MASK
-G.I. Joe (Before / Around the Civil War events
I\'d buy the shit outta those.
Someone NEEDS to read some of the better TF comics (from Marvel, DW and IDW) and figure out how to adapt them. Just the top 3 of each. I feel like everyone in charge of Transformers ignores the best the franchise has to offer.
Marvel: Scrounge's death
Dreamwave: Magnus armor busting
IDW: The DJD, Autobot Megatron, Last Stand of the Wreckers, and much more.
These are compelling stories!
Start Fresh without tying it too deep with the already established Bayverse. The games War and Fall of Cybertron had tremendous potential for storytelling. I don\'t need to see origins of Transformers, maybe limit that for flashbacks and narrations. The comic War Within would be a good start. How and why the war began in a mixture of political thriller in a cybertronian twist but don\'t make it \"too edgy\" like what Bay tried and failed to achieve. Just a cohersive point of story would do justice. Don\'t even get me started with the animated Combiner Wars and Titan\'s Return. Some of the episodes of Rescuebots made more sense than that animated garbage.
Transformers Animated feature film... Cool! ....based on the live action movies.. Noooooo!!!
My confused reaction when I read the headline. Not based on Animated, but will be animated. Thanks.
Not a big fan of TF Animated, but at least it has more depth than the mud puddle that is Bayformers.
I would still be down to help with this if they needed someone who wasn't an animator and lived halfway across the world. Guess I'm a couple of decades too late for The Lord of the Rings, and I doubt we have much else going here (unless you count Power Rangers, which is a hellish nightmare to work on - I'd really rather not get up at 3am for such low pay, but maybe I'll do it).
Maybe I should go live in Ireland. Heh.
You don't know that.
Besides...its a prequel and we have seen how Cybertron looks in the past. They can only change so much. Everyone on Cybertron looked like spiky gray/silver generic bots.
I don't want that.
So you think Hasbro is going to buy your script and change their movie universe to match it?
Separate names with a comma.
