Hmm...the Stunticons did come to mind when I saw the picture. Personally, I think it would be awesome if that is what the set turns out to be. They don't even have to combine for me to want them (though that would be all kinds of awesome). The only one thing I would really want out of that set would be a remolded head for Motormaster.

'Shattered' makes me think of Star Trek's mirror universe and I guess the Hasbroverse has its own mirror universe from that 2 parter in G.I.Joe.

I'd vastly prefer this to be "Mirror Universe Evil Autobots" rather than "Stunticons". The latter would be extremely lame.

Color-inversed logos and reversed "scene transition" sound makes me think it IS Mirror Universe.

Oh, also: That image is SO a Target: 2006 homage.

 

I love it already. It's about freaking TIME we got a convention with a full-on "bad guys" theme of some kind. I mean yeah, last year's entire box set was Decepticons, but the logo was still "good guys" and kinda threw the theme, between it and the add-on toys, into a "woohoo oldskool!" mode more than a "baddies" mode.

 

Oh please let it be evil/bots good/cons. I put that down as a suggeston when I did the Botcon survey in 06   At least I can pretend I had an influence.
