While technically you are correct, we've already seen what everyone is assuming is one more, possibly three more Predacons, not to mention the box set was originally announced as being "the Season One Maximals." Dinobot would, of course, be included in that.

I gotta say, this is the first thing that the new BotCon group is putting out that I really, REALLY want. But I've got so many expenses this year. Bummer too, cause I absolutely LOVE those Golden Disk Keys. Maybe they'll have some spares of those for sale around somewhere.

Not that the figures are anything to sneeze at, but I know I won't be able to afford those.

 

Damn. That looks freaking great. I'd love the be able to buy that set... and those Preds.

Cool. Who knows if we've met.... I've been going to Botcons and OTFCCs since 1999, and I don't think I've ever used my screen name there. In fact, back in '99 I didn't even post on boards and the such. I registered back in 2002 and was "forced" to pick a screen name.

We've already seen Waspinator and Megatron..I'd be mighty surprised if they don't have Terrorsaur, Tarantulas, and Scorponok either hidden away for con-sale or planned for club exclusives...

 

What the hell? Broken lazy promises? Exactly *what* promises did they make that this set does not keep? And how are promises "lazy"?

 

I wouldn't mind knowing the answers to that question myself.

A fantastic looking set that I cannot wait to pick up at Botcon. If Waspinator and Megatron will available for purchase at the show then MC can count on recieving my money for those figures as well.

What's getting me is this. You MIGHT view Landquake and the succeeding exclusive combiner bits as a broken promise with no retooled heads. MIGHT. Even though we've had that situation explained and how that claim ended up being made when it wasn't necessarily correct. Not very publicly or well promoted, but it was done.

But his words imply that they've supposedly broken some kind of promise about the convention box set, which I can't even fathom the reasoning behind.

 

Hopefully Waspinator will be the free exclusive for attending the convention. I am definitely picking up Megatron, though.
