Now that I've seen some good pics of both Razorclaw and Banzai-Tron, I'm having a hard time deciding which of the two I want to end up buying on the aftermarket. Traditionally, I only get one toy from each Botcon because that's all I can afford. I'm looking for some outside opinions on these two. Here are some of my own: Razorclaw A fitting update on a cool G1 character. Good colors. New headsculpt. Will go along with Onslaught and Silverbolt as a combiner team leader. I actually kind of like the mold, after owning Leo Prime. Will probably end up as one of the more expensive ones on the aftermarket. Banzai-Tron Cool update for an obscure, previously alt. mode-less, Action Masters character. One of the few boat TFs. I've always wanted either Mirage or Dreadwing, but I like this one's colors better. Looks like better poseability than Razorclaw. Banzai-Tron = ninja Could be one of the cheaper exclusives from this year's set due to his obscurity and the options of other exclusives (Razorclaw, Sweeps, Skyquake, Leozack, Elita 1?) I really can't decisively decide, but I'm leaning more towards Banzai-Tron.
Razorclaw. The Predacons were decently cool & the mold is decent. Ugh to Banzi-Tron. Have always hated the mold & could care less about the character. The only reason I'd get it is to ebay it off to help pay for the con.
Getting both myself, but I would personally choose Razorclaw. Banzaitron is an interesting idea, but Razorclaw is a great use of that particular mold. Granted, I have a Mirage and never got any version of the Leo Breaker mold. That might be part of the reasoning there...
