OK another stupid question for the veterans. I plan to pre-reg for Botcon, which I assume means I dont have to wait on a long line. (I want to get in and get the attendee figures and such.) Problem is I'm bringing a friend who's tagging along for the hell of it, and really doesn't care about TF. Must I pre-reg for two? How much is that? If I pre-reg and she doesn't, do I walk in and leave her on the long line? That would suck hard. Please help!

    It's not a stupid question m8, it's a concern for a lot of people.
If you prereg and she doesn't, then she'd have to wait in the queue to get in. You could prereg her as a Minicon; that cost $75 last year and it included the awards party & admittance to all show events, but not the toys. That'd be your best bet if you want her to get in at the same time as you.

Wow. That is absolutely absurd. Obviously they make their money this way, but its kind of insulting. You'd think the pre-reg would cover at least one guest, for the married folks at least.

Why not pre-reg and then sell off the second set o' toys. If you get them up on e-bay that day you'll get the registration costs back.

    yeah

if my trip to SDCC is any indication to how botcon does it then all pre-reg does is just speed up the process a little bit. but either way you're in a line to get in
