    Has anyone checked room prices before discount? All I've gotta say is that for me to stay at the host hotel, it better be one HELLUVA discount. $250 a night for 4-5 days, dayum! Here's to seeing you there.

    That's good, given the hotel rates (in response to NotFastEnuff, I've found as "low" as $200 per night with AAA. If Botcon doesn't beat that by a LOT, there's no chance of my going, no matter how low plane tickets are, much less the cost of the convention itself.)

    I've found much cheaper hotels, but they're not very close to the convention hotel. I've found some just over $100 a night, but you're 4+ miles away. We'll just have to wait and see.

    Yup they are, considering the money left over I didn't use at BotCon '06. I seem to have the price of the plane fare covered. ATM it's $654 CAD

    But a package deal ATM is $1,888 :(  I prefer package deals since if I can't find a roomie, the room's fully paid either way :) 

    And of all the times for me to be lookin' for work :cry , here's hoping I get this bank job that starts in the 1st wk of January. Then in April I can ask to have the time off :)
