Proof that I could call a turd a limited edition, and somebody would buy it. Everything revealed so far has been very underwhelming. I'm really bummed with this year's offering.

Underwhelmed by what we have seen anyway. Glad to be saving the money for the Disneyland Trip with the kids.

    ...the hell?

And dammit. That was too fast. Looks like I'll be whoring myself out on the aftermarket.

Good for FP then. Hardly any interest in this set myself, but I'm glad FP sold out. Anything I want (right now I'm only really looking at Skyquake and Leozak and those appear to be show only exclusives) I'll get on the aftermarket. But, again, good for FP.

I'm gonna be pissed if they say they didn't get my fax after three times sent and three times it said it went through.

I'm in the same boat. I was actually going to go after a Iacon package tonight then I see this post. I might pull the trigger and see if I can make it to Pasadena now, but it's going to be tuff.

I marked down for a loose set. Plan is sell both bag and box but if the set is cool keep the bagged. So far the set is not cool.

That is what I was going to do but the Scalper contingent has struck before I had the $ to do it. So I will skip it all and pay $15 at the door.

I'm in the same situation. And how the hell could the sets have sold out that quick with only two figures previewed and alot of people saying "pass" for this set? I guess now I'll just have to pay the price for not registering already! :banghead:

Hey Pete? - At the risk of sounding blissfully ignorant, are there more or less sets than there were last year?

    Hope that helps.

He already stated that they produced more sets this year than for previous Botcons.
And they sold out more quickly than ever before, despite (from what I've seen) only a moderate enthusiasm for the set.
    I call scalptacular.
