Well I thought Megatron would be the mold from Classics, but with that paint job. Thats my opinion.

 

Should the picture have been posted on the main page? So many of the others have been shown that I was hoping this one I could be surprised about but with the picture posted it was kind of hard to miss. I really wish these leaked pictures would just be in the threads that way I could choose if I wanted to look or not.

 

with so many of us traveling by airplane that mold is a incident waiting to happen, i dont think that will ever be used as a Botcon exclusive

 

This is the only 08 Botcon TF I'm not totally excited about. I think Good Megs could have had better colors.

I like! Too bad I can't afford BotCon again this year. The last few years (BW/Cybertron, Classics, Bearded Sp--I mean, Shattered Glass) have looked really great.

 

Hmm... The Energon Megatron mode was always a bit of a love/hate thing for me. The head sculpt is nice, the colours used really suit it, but... It's just kinda "meh".

The set on a whole is kinda meh, no real redeeming characters to it save for Starscream and - Purely for the love of the character - Grimlock. Even then, they're not something I'm gonna be too upset missing out on.

 

Actually they did not sell out. I was preregistered to go, but could not due the hurricane, so I chaged to the non attending set. About a week after Botcon 2005 I was sent an email offering the Ratchet set for the convention price plus shipping. I know of a few others who were also given the opportunity to buy the set, even though they did not attend.

 

Botcon Megatron... Love him or hate him...

 

I was going to say the worst version of Megatron ever... but then I remembered the movie version, lol. Pass...

 

Only decent figure in the Botcon set is the 'evil' Hot Rod....would go nicely with the 'evil' Rodimus Prime (Menasor) titanium figure.

The rest are just...meh.

 

I prefer the red & black lucky draw Megatron.

This years Botcon set totally blows! There's not one figure I care about. If I had the money I'd be going after the 2006 or 2007 set & totally ignore this one.

 

Damn, but I think it would be very interesting to say the least. Well I dont have a problem with it being in that energon mold so I guess its cool with me. Man, I'm very neutral.
