Im not a collector of Transformers animated toys. But I was thinking of picking up the Botcon Ironfist as a Classics Ironfist. But im not sure if it will fit visually. What do you guys think?

He won't fit in. I've tried putting Animated Ironhide into my Classics just now and he sticks out.

Whether or not it fits is up to how much you want to tolerate it. There are distinct style differences between Animated and Classics, and if you can bear to live with those differences, and you have the money to spend on the figure, then have fun.

I'd say the fit would be poor, worse than "Animated Arcee as Classics Arcee" even.

Not only for the difference in general style, but also because it turns into a Cybertronian treaded-turtle-tachikoma-camper-thing.

Thats one fo the worst molds to try and make a Classics - it's just too Animated-y IMO

I think you were maybe trying to think of cartoonish, no? But yeah I'm with Cybermnky, its just too animated-y err uh cartoonish, even. Though if you think it works, than go for it. Though again I dont think it will work too well. Yar.

I don't think the body would fit, but the head looks very LSotW-esque. I could see that head working on a different toy.

I don't think it would fit too well either. The mold is just too soft and curvy to mix with the more solid and boxy classics figures.

I wish they'd just release a Classics Ironfist and retool the Hound mold with a new head and maybe a roof or whatever. It can't be that hard to do, can it?

Pretty bad fit IMO, I can repurpose some Cybertron toys and a few HFTD and other stuff as Classics - Animated definatly not.

Yeah, Its a shame they havn't done more with that mold. Retool it into Ironfist and Swindle ,,,please Hasbro? TakTomy?

Ironfist would make an excellent third head retool for a Classics Trailbreaker/Hoist. I know I'm in the hypothetical of the hypothetical here, go ahead and call me on it if you need to. :lol
