I have a few figures from the Botcon 2006 Dawns of Future's Past set and I have a question about the disks. I have 2 of them, one is the normal "planet X" shaped solid light grey plastic with maximal symbol, which I think goes to either Tigatron or Cheetor, it's bagged so it's probably for Tigatron. The second one I have is the same shape but it's darker see through greyish with sparkles, has the golden key stuff in the middle and no faction symbol, is that one from a figure or was it just a solo freebie or is it from something else?

He's talking about the Cybetron Planet keys. He's just calling them "disks" (I don't know the comic story though, so they may actually be called disks). Botcon figures that use Cybertron molds include repainted cyber keys to match those figures too.

As for the keys OP... yea, they're important. They normally open up a gimmick on the figure, and overall, it's like selling a figure without missiles and stuff. Just incomplete.

Sweet! thanks man! I was going nuts trying to figure out what that one went to. I got them at a garage sale and he must have tossed that one in. He had Razorclaw but I didn't buy it.

Oh and TJ, they called them golden discs for that line of figures. The "Planet x" shape I was referring to was what that shape of cyber key was called in the Cybertron series.

did you get the razorclaw figure by chance at all?

that is exactly the disk that came with him...no faction symbol painted on the bottom of it...but it does have the golden disc deco
