Ok know that the loose set are sold out. How much do you think dealer will try to get for there extra sets ? I'm only asking cause I have a spare boxed set and I was going to get the extra firgures and resell it to help with the trip cost. Any IDeas?
The best estimate we'll get will be when Ebay opens up "presales" of the Botcon toys later this month. (Ebay policy states that they won't allow presales more than 30 days out.) I bet they are going to go high!
If you intend to sell you may as well put it on ebay yourself. No dealer is going to give you as much as you can get yourself, since they'll want to make a profit too.
The main exception to this would be if a dealer has a particular rare or hard to get item, then you might be able to make a deal that might be less easily made later.
BBTS will most likely be giving 350 for the set since they won't know who paid 279 and who paid 320...
Good point. If a dealer offers you a favorable trade for something rare or expensive, take it. If not, ebay it yourself.
No offense to BBTS, but 350 will go even further at most other dealer tables! BBTS is a quality of service leader, but rarely the price leader at Botcon.
