    Anyone know if you can coat Transmetal paint with clear coat or Future floor polish to protect it from chipping over time??

    My Botcon Cyclonus is actually accessible right now. No paint cracking/chipping, but then, he's still sealed and has never been exposed to my grubby hands or extreme temp fluctuations.

    I'd be very wary of trying to use Future on chrome. For whatever reason, it seems to coat unevenly, and dries foggy in places. The stuff's brilliant for every other purpose on earth, but my personal experiences with chrome haven't been good. You might want to try it on a junker before making that leap. Maybe I was applying it wrong?
