Figures the toy 90% have been clamoring for is the custom figure   I would have liked it, but I'll live.

 

I want to buy that.

 

As a convention staff member who knew about G2 Sideswipe before Joecon, I assure you he is molded in black. ;-)

 

Well, it sure looks painted in the picture (to my eyes), but I'll take your word for it!

Since it is, as you say, a genuine exclusive for the class "students," I'm just glad it's not a unique character. As much as I like that color scheme, I already have a Universe Sideswipe, so I can live with it (unlike Overkill, who Hasbro thankfully gave us later). Besides, I have way too many of that mold as is... It is, however, a nice treat for those who got in!

 

I got to handle it. It's a very nice piece. But as you say, it isn't a uniquecharacter so that's good for the people who couldn't get in. The wheels did have to ge painted black because of the mold layout, but the majority of te figure matches up to the originals color layout. Lotts neat stickers to apply also

 

Nice. The Neon Green stickers were the best part of G2 Sideswipe  

 

First time I've ever really been envious of the people who got into the customizing class. The next question is: will G2 Sideswipe be showing up in the comic?

 

Seems like it would have been a good choice for inclusion in the boxset, but I can live without it.

Hawt Dang, I am excited I got into the class. woo hoo. Truly a piece of plastic I will never sell. Now I just need to make the flight to Florida with no hiccups... Yeah!

 

I hope next year thye find a way to make the class figure available to everyone...even if they don't make it into the class.

 

Yeah, that would have been much better. Sideswipe was one of the premier Autobots of G2. And he would have made a much better match to Breakdown.

Plus the Prowl mold could use some customization, frankly.

 

Heh... there's so much stuff FunPub could potentially make that I would love to buy. Their club comic has introduced Over-Run as an Energon Bulkhead remold, and I'd gladly buy that, along with any potential Ironfist. This year's Botcon set is giving us Rapido, so I'm hoping for the other Axelerators as future exclusives (maybe even next year's membership freebie?).

And yet, despite all the stuff that I'd love for them to make, I really have no interest in Streetstar, who's already produced...

 

Gah, why you cant make that one of the box set figures?  

 

I'm completely indifferent to this toy.

 

Congrats to those who got into the class. That is one sweet toy and will make a nice addition to anyone's G2/Universe/Generations collection.

 

I think this may make it much harder to get into the class in the future with too many people who don't care about the class itself just wanting something unique

 

It would really be nice if FP would released this as a club exclusive. Pleeeeease.
