    Thanks Aaron, that's awesome news!

I can't wait to see what we do with this figure, I hope I don't have as hard of a time as I did with the Scrapmetals from last year.

Thanks Dan!!! I see some people have posted about a prototype. I missed that auction. Well that's kind of cool if it is Trypticon.

So, pardon my ignorance (I've never been to Botcon, so I'm not quite sure how these customizing classes operate) but does this mean he definitely WILL be remolded in different colors? Or are they simply going to start with a standard-issue grey unpainted Grimlock?

I'm just wondering if this will be another redeco that I'll have to acquire somehow.

Last year they did two scrapmetals. I don't remember what colors they were in, but one had the standard head and the other had the 'Coby Type' head. I believe they were supposed to represent two of the other pre-bw characters... one was definently Inferno, but I can't remember who the other was supposed to be...

If I ever go to another Botcon, maybe I'll take the class. Up to now, the most customization I've ever done is Reprolabels. Anyway, C. Grimlock looks to be a very interesting choice.

That is clearly Skullcruncher to go with Classics Weirdwolf from the comic.

Anyone have any pictures from previous years customizing classes?

I see inferno, who is the other one supposed to be?

I think it was Frenzy or Rumble, I honestly can't remember.

He wrote up tech specs and bios that he put in that book, I will have to check when I get home unless someone else who was there sounds off before I get to it.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the toys from the customizing class came unassembled. So it seems somewhat unlikely that someone would take one, put it together, and THEN sell it on ebay. They'd just put it up the same way they got it, on the sprues or however they come. If I'm right, then that prototype likely isn't related to this...Trypticon, Skullcruncher, or otherwise.

Also, that image surfaced many months ago...probably too early to be Botcon related anyway.

It was BW Inferno, and G1 Rumble last year.

Can't believe I missed out on this class. Grimlock would be awesome! I'm wondering how long it would take to do a figure of that complexity, though. I remember it took us almost all day to do one Scrapmetal last year.
