Nothing fancy, really - just a rendition of Botcon Animated Dead End with an Autobot battlemask deployed! From what I can tell, the Stunticons are meant to infiltrate the Autobots (or at least vaguely resemble them for SOME purpose) so I figured they'd come with the masks as well... well, at least Dead End since he's the only Stunticon who had a faceplate. : ) So here he is - Dead End, in typical fatalist form. Although, with his look, he strikes me as being a bit more beatnik/hipster in attitude. XD
I dunno why but Animated Dead End reminds me of Cybertron Lugnutz. Maybe it's the lingo i dunno? Nice work.
Derrick Wyatt did say that Dead End is a depressing beat poet, and he's involved with this year's Botcon set, so you're right on the money! Nice work here. I wish I could draw hands as well as that.
Thanks so much, guys!! As I saw this drift towards the bottom of the page, I thought to myself "Does it suck so bad that it doesn't even warrant a pity comment? ;___; " XD I admit I didn't do much with the design, but I figured it was good enough to post. ; ) Tom
the helmet looks kinda like a hip beret which, paired with the 'stache', totally sells the poet thang.
Like it. For the record, in the cartoon, Dead End was the only one with a faceplate, but the toy doesn't have one. It's Wildrider who's got the only faceplate in toy form.
I always found that funny! I resented my old Dead End toy for not having the mask like the guy in the cartoon. XD Thank goodness I never owned an Ironhide or anything haha Tom
