This is crazy. The FP guys are working their butts off to give the people that are paying the money to go to the convention something very unique and special.

I would not even DREAM of buying one of those things off of ebay. I mean, SOMEONE(s) obviously STOLE a LOT of these things.

The only thing unique and special about this is how much people who went to the convention can list these for on ebay after the convention. I bet this figure reaches $150 plus come August.

At least this way a few of the people who can't get there can get this for a half decent price and it can't reduce the number that FP will have as they should have a contract for the delivery of X number of figures with the manufacturer.

Actually, you are right. I was wrong. The only thing unique about this is the fact the somone STOLE something that does not belong to them and they now have the chance to SELL the STOLEN item.

Nice piece, it might be the first time I buy an attendee exclusive. Although personally I'd have prefered it stayed a surprise rather then being spoiled in such a manner

The unique and special aspect is that Alpha Trion is meant as an attendee exclusive. Thus for people who are ACTUALLY going to the Convention itself and showing it's support for Fun Publications Inc.

And not for people who have a problem with the company but still feel entitled to any and all products they offer at BotCon without actually supporting the company the paid to produce it.

Ok I don't condone theft and I didn't intend my post to come off like that. The point I was trying to make is that I think the people who return from Botcon and charge 3 to 5 times the value of the figure are just as bad. People wouldn't buy these if that didn't happen.

I understand that FP want to do something special for those who attend, I just think that getting to meet the guests, attend the panels, see the the new figures first and all the other great events at Botcon would be special enough! (God knows if I could get there it wouldn't be to collect a $50 figure - it would be to enjoy the weekend!!!!)

 

Those are some seriously sweet colors. I think this may be my favorite of the exclusives this year that I've seen so far.

 

I hate the fact that his colors are so nice. I know I have no use for a Vector Prime repaint (this is coming from someone who likes the mold), but his colors just scream "want me" and I'm powerless to fight it
