Just for curiosity's sake, what BotCon activities are you guys planing to take part in.

Myself is as follows

• Hasbro Tour
• Advanced movie screening
• Battle of the boards
• Saturday awards dinner
• Possibly getting together w/another board member and his wife. Probably at Dave and Buster's

I figure I owe it to myself to take part in as many aspects this year offers. You know to maximize my fun potential  

 

- Hasbro tour & advance movie screening
- Saturday awards dinner
- All/most of the panels & standard convention-related activities. This will likely be my only Botcon, so I'd like to maximize the experience.
- Shaking hands with a few TFW'ers... I've been around since the beginning of TFW (didn't register until a bit later), and there's definitely a few folks I'd like to meet face to face for the first time.
- Sightseeing in Providence with the wife; we're already there, it's a nice place to visit, and I do enjoy her company, after all.

Runnin a Dealers Table.
Advanced showing for movie.
Autographs.
Spending money I've saved for 8 months in Dealer's room.
Hasbro Panels.
Drinking in the Bar.
Dave and Buster's sounds like fun. (haven't been to one since moving to IA)
The Dinner.
Hanging out with Friends.
About as much as I can in the amount of time given.

 

I think some of the things I'll be doing are:

Going on the Hasbro Tour(I believe Im confirmed for this)
Awards dinner most likely
Dealer Room shopping
MOst Panels
Hopefully meeting a few fellow board members
Eating some good local food, it is after all the east coast, so I'm hoping to get some really good seafood, crab, lobster, all that good stuff
Anything else good that comes along

I'll be doing:

- Hasbro tour (if it can be made to work and still have enough time for dealer setup)
- Saturday awards dinner
- Thursday Custom Figure Class
- Panels as I'm able
- Blowing wads of money on toys and goodies(dur)
- Going out to dinner someplace decent with a group of friends
- Testing the living hell out of the new digital camera on the cases of unreleased toys
- Telling my boss he can go to hell in a handbasket if he thinks I'm going to have anything to do with work for two weeks straight

 

Mostly I want to go to the panels and the dinner.

I'm hoping to get in on the Hasbro tour, but I was a late applicant, so I'm not expecting to. (right now the only indication I have that I'm "in" is that my account got charged.)
I'm skipping the movie -- I never go to opening nights for blockbusters -- and other than BWNeo D-39 "Killer Punch" and MP's that I can't afford   I don't need to go to the dealer room(s).

 

Hello All!

-Hasbro Tour.
-Movie, 'nuff said.
-Dealer Room (Gotta catch 'em all!).
-Awards Dinner (At least to eat. A friend and I usually let the wives enjoy the rest, while we take the kids to the pool. Don't have to worry about a wet cast this year either  )
-Panels, especially the Hasbro one.
-Did I mention the Dealer Room?
-Getting together with our friends to let the kids play (4 total), and have family time.
-Having dinner with Orson, Walt, Shawn, and Crew sometime Sun. nite. Seems to be a tradition with us now.
-Hobnobbing with Furman, Archer, and the like, if for only a few minutes.
-Attending the Round Table forum, so that I can thank Savage and Co. for all the work they do.

I am sure that I forgot many things. The main thing is to have some fun. Try out the new 'haul holder' so that I have free hands this year, as well. On the way home, stop in NYC to pay respect to those that perished on 9/11. Visit TRU Times Square just to see the how colossal it really is. And, a trip to the beach, while on the East Coast. I can't wait to see the ocean again.

One thing I'm going to TRY and do next month is to sample a regular beer like MGD or somethin'. If for any reason, just because I've got to learn myself to lower my defenses once in a while  

Last year was my first baby steps, now it's time to possibly try the next step
