it was at the robotkingdom booth, it was very tiny and unless you were looking closely, you would think it was just an accessory to the perfect effect arcee on display

 

Robot Kingdom got warned twice about the 3rd party stuff they were selling and showing off. Once on Friday and then on Saturday, when they were made to put them away. So you would have to of seen them before then.

 

i saw the head on sunday, so if they were made to put them up saturday, they had everything back out on display again on sunday

 

It seems peculiar to me that they didnt allow 3p stuff but, they allowed all of the homemade shit using TF images, logos, and etc.

No offense to anyone that had a booth like that, but if they ban some non official TF products, they should ban them all.. imo anyway. Or better yet, let people sell what they wanna sell, and let buyers choose what to do. FP will still get their cake and eat it too, in ANY event...

now i walked past their booth several times throughout the weekend, and i never saw them take down stuff, but i do know there were a few items for sale sunday, mostly hercules headlights

 

Don't forget they even had an exclusvie for sale as well. They also had last years reflector on the table on saturday. I walked by the booth a few times. After noon on saturdaythey no longer had the 3rd party stuff out for sale. At that time he also had the iron army put away, but if anyone asked he simply pulled it out to show them and reminded them its not for sale. He also had flyers for the iron army. I am sure having all the flyers flaoting around didnt help the situation much.

 

Same... in fact, everytime I walked by each day, it looked like he was putting together something new to put on the table.

 

It was a non transforming proto-type version of the blue pe-dx motorbot in robot mode.

 

One of my friends claims steven, the owner and guy working the Robot Kingdom booth at Botcon, was escorted out by security, later in the day, on Saturday. I had noticed no one was present at his booth during the afternoon at some point, when making my rounds. But it seems they let him back in for Sunday?

 

Yeah, but the thing is, 3-P toys are fan art too.

Haha...no....he went to attend some panels, actually. As far as I know they never took any action against him, and if they had, it would have been having him pack up and remove his property and vacate the booth entirely, not escorting him out and making him abandon everything.

 

Yup! I'll be buying this riffle either, for my custom OL though.

 

RobotKingdom was flaunting their shit   Me and my buddy grabbed the guys attention when he was setting up early Sunday and we jokingly asked him how he was getting away with it. He simply shrugged his shoulders, started laughing, and walked away.

In fact, Sunday seemed to be a very lax day as far as 3rd party figures, probably because it was the last day. TFsource had the yellow Giant out, Captured Prey was showing off Cyclops, and RK was ... flaunting their shit.

 

I sorta enjoyed buying out of "secret" hotel room shops after hours though. It had a fun underground atmosphere. I almost hope they continue the ban next year.

 

Plastic crack is starting to become a more and more accurate description of transformer collecting, lol.
