I just recieved and email about this years BOTCON 201 Just some teaser stuff about the what is to come. I added the basic details of the email: Next year's BotCon the Official Transformers Convention will once again be filled with amazing guests, plenty of awesome official toy exclusives, seminars, panels and of course, you, the fans, from all over the world! We know everyone is anxiously awaiting the details for BotCon 2012 but please know that we are working very hard to finalize all of the information so we can announce the date and location. Since BotCon moves around the country and is the only official show, there are many details to coordinate. Again, we are working hard to get all the arrangements solidified so we can release the show location and dates soon. "Since BotCon moves around the country" Did anyone else imagine a Scumbag Steve hat on Botcon when they read that? Botcon rarely shows up anywhere that's not coastal and it repeats previous locations all the time.
It's repeated locations all of once since Fun Publications took over. I don't really think that's "all the time".
Botcon hates us texans and folks in this part of the country, they move as far away as possible from those of us who can't afford to go out to california, i will hold this belief until they prove me wrong, which they don't want to cause they continue to have it so far away
I can't wait till they have it in Texas just so I can see the day you'll stop taking it personal that it's not convenient for you ... or for anybody else
Funny...I seem to remember having quite a good time at a Botcon once...it wasn't that many years ago either...2005 I want to say...and I'm pretty sure we were in Texas at the time...
lets see, i missed the 2005 botcon because well, my entire family got sick right before it happened and then i was too young to go by myself, then i am afraid of heights and because of my mom's health i really can't go that far off, so i have my damn reasons. You would understand why i would get so fustrated after year after year, wanting to go to botcon so badly when they keep ignoring us folks here in texas, arkansas, oklahoma, louisiana, and all, hell Joecon has been in this part of the country twice now in recent years but what about botcon? no, i'm given up even hoping for this year and instead just going to my anime convention
Hopefully anywhere not east coast... Or not too far north lol. Really hate I missed out on the last one in Florida... And I'd like to try to make it... Specially if RiD Scourge may be a con' exclusive!
Still would love to see one in the Midwest. I havent been able to go but I'm not going to get all worked up about it.
