Is Devy the same dude that was Starscream last year?

I don't remember what he looked like, I just remember seeing him with his costume half off walking on stilts at one point like the guy in the Devy costume.

Devastator has a perfect selection of neon green.

At least you know your in the right lineup when there are two iconic G1 mechas stomping around.

Both costumes are rad, of course. But I really dig that Grimlock. Excellent.

I was one of the ones with Grimlock and Devastator. The loud mouth spotter walking them around with the 'All Hail Megatron' shirt on was me.   Someone yelled something about 'Devastor's walking away with his girlfriend' at some point....not so, just my buddy, and his help while in the suit. And to answer questions about it, YES, that is the same guy in Devs that was King Starscream last year. That's Ken. And his brother Dave is Grimlock.   The little Wheelie was my son, aka Prince Starscream/Frenzy from last year. This year I wasn't able to take a full size costume so Lady Megatron didn't get to come, but you might have seen me around as G1 Carly or just spotting for the guys.

 

The best part of the Grimlock costume was when LadyMegatron would adjust something with the guy inside, which meant she was basically rummaging around in Grimlock's crotch.  

Those costumes were great. It's neat to see a TF walking around, twice as tall as the surrounding crowd. I saw Gregg Berger hanging around Grimlock several times, and at one point he did Grim's voice while the guy in the costume moved the mouth.

For real though, it takes a LOT to keep those big costumes going from the one inside, and the one outside who's spotting them too. If you saw a chick lifting the body pieces up and on the guys inside and attaching outer pieces or making the adjustments or fixing things as they went, that was probably and most likely me. Once inside, the guys can't really see if anything is going wrong and sometimes can barely see where they are going, but I had a lot of fun tagging along after giants.
