If they are to hypothetically use voyager Optimus as Motor Master, I certainly hope they use a new head. Otherwise wouldn't it just look like the Nemesis version that TakaraTOMY put out?

Dam, there's no way I'd be able to actually attend the convention. I guess I'll have to find another way to get the other figures (if they're just as cool as Dead End is).

Can't wait for this box set! Love the idea of a re-tooled Wreck-gar as Motormaster.

Might be sacrilegious, but I have had enough of the crap that was the Animated toylike. Amazing show, but I can count all the good figures in that line (both Hasbro AND Takara releases) on one hand. Not mad at all about missing BotCon this year.

I'm actually impressed. And here I was thinking about getting rid of my Animated figs.

I don't think they use Leader figures. But I would like to see them use the Wreck-Gar mold as Motormaster. That'd be pretty unique.

I feel better about skipping Botcon this year now that I know the Box Set won't be Show Characters that didn't get toys.

The attendee/souvinier toys are what I want to see =D

The paint job is nice, and the mustache kicks ass, but I feel ripped off it's a straight up repaint.

    Either way, expensive as balls.

Since I'm not that into Animated, but planning to go to Botcon, I will have a full set of exclusives to sell. Anyone who's not going want to make me an offer for the box, freebie, and attendee sets? If I could presell them, it would make it a lot easier for me to go ahead and buy my plane tickets.

Well, geez, guy, they DO usually do more straight repaints than remolds, and they nearly always show us a straight repaint first to build up anticipation for the new heads we'll see later.
