    Botcon Spoilers?

Is it just me, or do the Ebay sellers normally start showing off the Botcon promos every year right around now? The wait is killing me!

After registration form go up as they usually describe the theme and or characters.

It should be fairly soon, according to an email FP sent out a few weeks ago. If I remember they're trying to get an online reg. system working.

If you do go follow Chaos Muffin's advice.

Since my thread was closed and I don't seem to find the answers in this thread I'll just ask here.

Since Botcon is being held in Orlando this year which is not too far from me I was thinking about trying to go. Since I've never been to one before can anyone give me some tips on how to get the most bang for my buck so to speak, such as are certain days better to go to than others? Are things generally overpriced? How do you get the special sets like the "Shattered Glass" toys? Also does anyone know how much it costs to go, or how much extra I should bring with me, ect...?

Also, if you will be attending let me know, it'd be nice to actually meet some people from the boards.

Since it's in Orlando, which is near where my brother lives, I might try and visit my self. My sister-in-law works at Disney World which is where it'll be held.
I should try and start saving up some money for it so when the time comes I'll have some nice spending cash!
I hope my Dad has plans to be in Florida at that time and I'll have a chance to go there. I've never been to one of these conventions and I have a question. Is this specifically dedicated to Transformers ONLY? Or to robots in general?

Check this link to get an idea for what things will cost. This is last years brochure.

    This link for who's going,

This link for most of the other questions asked.

The threads are long but full of good info.

It's 99% TF with a touch of other robots. Least that's the way it was when I've been. That's been a few years though.

How much money should one have for Botcon? Will they have original G1's, all reissues, naturally BotCon rarities, what should I look for when there?
And when will it be too late to get a ticket? Can you get a walk-in ticket?
Most likely I'll be staying with my brother if I go, so I probably won't need hotel reservations.

As much or as little as you want. I know that doesn't sound helpful, but it really depends on what you want. Near as is possible the odds are good that anything you want will be there. At least one year I probably spent less than $50 in the dealer room, not including that years exclusives.

If you get the Primus package, roughly $300, then you'll probably want the attendee only exclusive toys which is roughly another $200. You usually have good warning if the boxset toys you get with the Primus package are selling out, but likely at least 1 month after registration begins.

If you just go as a walk in on the day, about $10, you probably wont get any exclusives, but its a cheap option and you pay on the day. You'll probably have to queue for a long time that way.

I know I'm planning on spending 25% on my hotel room, 25% on toy robots, and the rest on booze.
