Botcon 2010 - any news?

    Anyone know any information about Botcon 2010? Seems odd that Auto Assembly in the UK have announced dates and guests, and Botcon has announced nothing that I can find.
    East Coast, West Coast? Month? Anything would be nice.

    Following FP's usual M.O., we probably won't hear anything until January at the earliest.

    We've yet to learn anything concerning BotCon 2010.

    Chances are, they're working on determining the location of the con, plus finding a hotel for guests to stay in, etc. Once they get plans finalized, they'll be sure to let us know via their website.

    botcon 2010

    has anybody heard anything about when or were its gonna be yet? im trying to put money away for it but it would be easer if i kenw when it will be.

    The only thing that has been revealed, is that Hasbro has approved the Botcon 2010 toys. Other than that nothing yet.

    Shame I won't be going this time BUT I will be attending 2011 for the 3rd movie, I loved 2009 one

    I know how you feel. It always seems like any info we get about BotCon is always next to the last minute. It's no wonder why I've been unable to save up and attend BotCon for the last couple of years.

    Would definitely like it to be in the Midwest so that way I can try and go to it.

    As far as the convention goes, no real word yet. By their pattern it would be mid US, but patterns don't mean squat.

    Why would the timing affect how much money you can save? Just start saving as much as you can afford to until it is convention time.

    The odds of Vegas are slim to none. Brian Savage puts a high priority on keeping convention hotel costs down and trying to find family friendly locations for the con.

    Yea, I started saving last month and will just keep saving until then. Living in Texas it pretty much costs the same to travel East or West. So I figured I'd save as much as last time and if it's closer to me, I'll have more for the dealers room ;) 
    If I remember correctly they announced where it was going to be on Christmas last year. So hopefully we should hear something soon...

    I'm sincerely hoping Tampa or Orlando, but I'm sure everybody wants it to be close by their place. But a Botcon-related trip to Universal Studios would be a lot of fun.

    Botcon should be in Atlanta or Knoxville....That way its cheap on me..lol...

    Fingers crossed for NY or Maryland, but thats me being selfish. Flying over from the UK as I do, I like to go for a few weeks and explore the area, see all the sights and visit all the toy shops before the 'Con, and NY / Maryland are the places in the US left that I'd really like to visit.
    Not that I would complain about another visit to Florida :)
