Also in Sep is the leader class Ultra Magnus figure.

TF Universe comic packs are what are really intriguing to me, though. Stupid lack of pics...

Hasbro also confirmed there are two different Nemesis Primes. Blue-windowed is SDCC, red-windowed is thankfully not a SDCC variant but exclusive to Japan.

These could be repaints of older figures, it depends if it's part of the Classics line or just universe.

 

Definetly a lot of interesting things. I'll be waiting for Sol Fury's report on it though, as Tformers is known to get things mixed up on reports like this. Too bad about no pictures aloud, but I'd rather know about this stuff withought pictures rather than not know about them at all.

Still, you know something? I smell several repaints of movie 1 characters in the toyline for movie 2, if Hasbro has the budget to crank out this many new molds. Which is a GREAT thing.

Could this Target Comic pack with Springer, Ratbat, Roadbuster, and Dirge be the War Within designs? I'm pretty sure those guys showed up together in issue 2 of The Dark Ages mini-series...

 

maybe....cause of the broadness of the new universe line....we can not envision it now as to what it might look like

and it if becomes classics dirge, i demand that they add the missing wing panels the botcon one did not have.....lol so if you want difference between the two , THERE YA GO lol

 

I wondered about that too. Problem is, there aren't many toys that correspond to the War Within designs for Springer, Ratbat and Roadbuster, and I doubt Hasbro went to the trouble of making all-new toolings for them. They are 2 sets by the way, not one large set.

I've always wanted TF comic packs, but I've also been concerned about the fact Hasbro is highly unlikely to make a new tooling figure to reflect the comic apparance like they do for Star Wars comic packs.

 

Unless the comic is specifically made to go along with the toys?

Hasbro's been doing it with G.I. Joe lately, and they do seem to love working with IDW.
