Awesome news for FP. I am really happy that they have had a sell out.

Now we have to wait for the "nattering nabobs of negativism" to show up to the thread.

And here I was ALMOST considering the possibility of biking down to Staples to order a loose set...My rage knows no bounds :mad

Oh well, guess I'll just be happy with my box set instead :D

Honestly this is unprecedented, never AFAIK in BotCon's unofficial and official history have they sold out of Convention set prior to the Convention itself

    *Shh*

    Don't poke the bear ;)  :p

It kind of sucks that a lot of those boxed sets and loose figures are going to the same folks twice and then straight to EBAY. *sigh* Think they'll show up for re-sale on any of the usual internet-stores?

I think you'll see a fair number of Bugbites and Dreadwings on ebay, but not Dirge, Thrust, or TC. At least in the long run. Initially, you'll have a deluge from the people trying to recoup their cost or make a profit and all will be on there. After that though, I think most people will hang on to them.

BBTS and maybe a couple of others will offer store credit in trade for them at the con in an effort to get some stock. But realistically they won't get more than a couple dozen maybe at the most They'll sell out at whatever price BBTS asks for them literally in minutes, probably before an official announcement email even goes out. Basically, unless you happen to be online at the moment someone discovers they've been added to the store you won't be able to count on getting one from them either.
