All I ask is, for those who have problems with the movie, to give it a chance. I think you will like it. If you don't afterward, that's fine.

I was a fan before, and I thought it was totally awesome.

By biggest gripe was Michael Bay's 'upclose and personal' shots. There were too many shots that were blurry because the camera was too close. I would have personally liked to see the far away shots a bit more. Blurry robots don't look good, especially if you keep on doing it over and over again.

    So, here is my five minute (laptop typing time) movie review;

1st 3rd: Wow, badass! Action up the wazoo! Funny, interesting, very exciting. Script holds up well.

2nd 3rd; Wow, lame. It's very fuzzy, you may well enjoy it, but it's mostly child-centric, full of "fun". Personally I could have lived without it, was kinda boring.

3rd 3rd; Full of "ZOMG AWESOME" moments.

Overall they did a fantastical job with it. Cullen is awesome. Pretty much has was great to fantastic effects wise. The script was pretty sharp, lots of fan-wankery, action was super if a little "Dammit stop moving the damn camera".

Overall, great. Not disappointing in the slightest, Don followed through with his promises and Micheal Bay can add this to "The Rock" and "Bad Boys" as pretty decent, I deserve my Hollywood stripes, kinda thing.

Aside from 2 instances where I thought I was watching a different Bay movie, this thing gets a 5 of 5. In trying to explain it to my wife, it's a summer action blow shit up movie, that happens to star Transformers.

    WOW!!!

I did like the direct or indirect homage, Colonel Sharp of GI JOE. Watch for it if you know what I mean. I had goosebumps.

Guys, without spoilers, can you comment on the amount of dialogue the robots had? I mean, do you really get the sense that these are the characters we grew up with even if they look a bit different?

I'm curious about Optimus' voice myself. Is it as synthesized as what was heard in the MTV Movie Awards clip?

    Quick question:

Was the G1 transformation sound in there anywhere?

I kind of don't like where they've been placing it, and rather enjoyed the one they had for Blackout in some of the previews. Kind of sounded like the old sound, just more hi pitched and sped up a little.

Realistically, I don't mind that too much in this movie. The Cons have no reason to adapt our language. In the sequel, I assume they might start mixing it up with the seedier humans and thus speak more English.

What do you mean the very end? Mr Roboto and others who attended the LA Premier had said there were clips throughout the credits. Do those stop after a certain point? Is there a way to know without spoiling it?

Yes, there are three brief snippets of footage that roll inbetween credits, the first two are fine, then the credits:

A Michael Bay Film appears, then

    Transformers

then, the final, and best of these bits of footage is shown, after that there's nothing more (except hearing the awesome new Smashing Pumpkins song)
