For those looking for some exercise, can we use the stairs?

 

I'm staying at the Westin. I'll be there tomorrow around 2 or 3. I need some seeker parts and a few other things.

I also have a couple reissues and misc stuff for sale/trade.

I'm sure you'll be able to bring people who are not staying there up to your room. They just don't want random people wandering the halls, given it's a high class hotel. That being said, I'm at the Westin and I'll get people up to the parts parties once I arrive their tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

 

True, true. I'm at the Hilton and the elevators are wide open, so to speak. Then again, different hotel, different rules.

Well the plan of not getting security called didn't happen. Thank you for being such a wonderful host and to your wife for having the patience of a saint. Kicking it with Orci for several hours was unexpected.

So which celebrities will you have at your next parts party?

 

Hey, even celebrities know who gives the best parties!!!!
We are working on something pretty good for next year, I am lobbying for an official dealers table for the boards. So in addition to getting parts at the official parts party you can also sell your wares in the dealer room. Does anyone else think this is a good idea. I threw the idea around with everyone at the parts party and it seemed like a great idea.

Let me hear some noise about this.

If I can make it to another Botcon, I'm all for this. The parts parties are such a good idea in general and being able to do it in the dealer room is even better. However, there would be a lot of logistics to work out, and you'll probably need more than 1 table to accomodate the number of TFW people out there.

 

Who ever took the pic of us with Orci, is there a chance you can post it, or email me a copy? Thanks again for hosting a wonderful gathering Megamus and Gen1.

 

Count me in if this can happen. Nothing against doing some sales in the rooms, but since I share the room at the con with a few other people, I don't feel comfortable hogging the room for parts parties/sales when I'm only trying to sell a couple boxes/tubs of figures and parts. At the same time, I feel like a mooch setting up in someone else's room (thanks again to you, megamus, for letting me bring some of my stuff in Friday night... hope the 2/3 of a Reflector gets a Spectro soon).
