Hey $5HotRod too bad I didn't see you at the con. I caught up with HotSpot17 in line for the Hasbro panel though. Maybe next year.

I didn't get much. I got the boxset and all at-show exclusives, some posters I'll never hang, the Don lithograph, T-shirt, a Superlink Wheeljack, G1 Blitzwing, reissue Perceptor, some clear faction stickers, some tech specs, and a mint 1985 catalog poster. I was disappointed in the dealer room.

 

Where were all these liokaisers??? I didn't see a single boxed set while I was there.

 

Seems like all my "haulage" money went towards food and booze!  

 

Yeah, I didn't even know you were there. If that panel was on Friday, that means I was stuck in one line or the other all fricking day long.

 

Eh? If you asked me about $5hotrod when you saw me on Sunday, I would have told you to look behind me cause that's where he was. Waiting with my and two other friends for the future toy unveiling. Oh well, next time.

 

Well, there was really only one GoBots guy and he was in the back corner close to the art contest tables. It's not surprising he still had those after the show closed, because he was asking $60 for the others and $70 for those two (admittedly, my attire probably hurt my bargaining position). I already had most of them, but I did get him down to $50 on Defendor, though I would've liked to take them all with me.

I don't know when I'll get around to putting up photos so here's the list.

1. Brave Maximus, MIB unused. Everybody kept congradulating me on the hell of a deal I supposedly got. A pro photographer even asked to take my picture.
2. MISB Super GoBots Defendor, MOC regular GoBots Good Knight and Spacy.
3. MISB Armada "arctic camoflauge" Bruticus. Damn I love the Combaticons.
4. MISB BTA-02 Sunstreaker. Damn I miss the Binaltech series.
5. Games of Deception box set, clear blue Mirage, both at-show 2-packs.
6. MISP Alternators Nemesis Prime. I went on about this in another thread, but I thought $45 was a great deal considering all the ruckus this caused last year.
7. Loose G2 Onslaught, complete G2 Swindle, loose Drag Strip, Menasor's gun.
8. MISB Cybertron Primus. I actually won this when they were drawing names in the dealer room on Sunday. It was a pretty awesome end to the convention if you ask me.

There's a handful of other items I would've liked to have picked up but they either weren't there or didn't fit my budget (cash only). There's always next year though and I assure you I'll be better prepared for round two!

 

I got lots of stuff at Con.. really too much to list here. But the *highlight* is that I got the Bugbite at the parts party Sat night! He was THE one that I really wanted. (I was registered as a Mini-Con, so didn't get the entire boxed set, and my friend wasn't sharing.)

Oh, how much did ya'll get on your Optimus gift cards? I got $25, now deciding what I want since I bought so much already.

 

;( on the liokaisers i missed. i DID manage to get a G1 liozack and his breastforce though, and i do have a KO head that TFmaster had made a while back.
