there was a Mensor at my local target a few days ago.

 

If I find an extra Menasor or Quickmix I can pick them up for you if you've got the money to pay me back with...just let me know.

 

gen1fan might be grabbing the Mensor, but if you find a Quickmix it would be appreciated and I can pay you back at the show.

Well I figured I would put this here instead of creating another new thread but....

I'm out! Heading to Lexington in about an hour. I will be in the Holiday Inn express on Export st until Thurs night, and then move to the Hyatt.

Customizing class tomorrow, and then Thursday will be just hanging out, maybe hit up some stores, do some drinking at night.

Farewell my friends, and safe travels! I will see you all (convention goers) in Lexington! Look for teh 'Fuzz!

 

I'll be leaving for Lexington on Thursday morning, will probably arrive early afternoon sometime. I'm going to go out, have myself a steak to celebrate my vacation, and get back in enough time for registration lines. Then, hopefully I'll see you all somewhere around the hotel.

Me in a few minutes I'm off to get my money exchanged. Can't believe I waited so long to do so  

 

I'll be leaving here about 7-7:30am tomorrow, and showing up in lexington to find parking and where the class will be around 8:30-9, it looks like. We're coming back home Wednesday night, but we'll show up for good on Thursday around 10am-1pm, we'll decide that tomorrow evening after we load the stock and gear into the van. We'll be staying through until Monday, and in no real hurry to leave that morning since it's a short drive.

Anything interesting to see/do in Lexington to kill time? How about good eats near the hotel? Preferably something local. We usually budget about $20 a piece to go someplace decent once during the con...

 

Sidecutter...I just drove by the Hyatt, and really didnt see too much right within walking distance for food...there were a few fancy looking places but nothing practical looking. Down Broadway about a mile there are a few places, saw a Penn Station and a Buffalo Wild Wings to name a couple, but those are driving distance. But maybe a local could do better steering us in the right direction, it would really suck to not have any practical eats within walking distance of the convention!

We will be leaving tonight around 7 pm and heading out to lexington. We will heading to the Vette Museum 1st and once we are done with that. We will head back up to Lexington and check intot he hotel then hang out with every one else until we go and check in with the con.
