I am trying to figure out the value of a new figure I picked up in a collection. What is the rough value of a complete botcon 2006 shattered glass optimus prime?

You mean the 2008 timelines? A quick eBay search shows only one unsold item with no completed sales anywhere else so I wouldn't go by that price.

Are you perchance talking about the 2008 Shattered Glass Prime using the Classics mold? If so, I would put him between $300 to $500 but realistically $200 to $250. If you're referring to the 2012 version, that's between $90 and $150.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen one on ebay, so... quite a lot. Definetly in the hundreds.

Expensive. Quick eBay search finds the cheapest (and only) one to be $850. So yeah, expensive.

I wouldn't go by that as I stated earlier. Anybody can put anything for any price. You'd have to see what it sold for and there's no clear indication.

I have seen it sell for $780 before but that was a while ago (can't remember exactly). Even then, most people who would drop that amount of cash probably already have him. For quick cash, $250 is an instant buy for most people. Though with the $850 one up there now, any price below that will put anyone on the fence into buying territory. Heck, someone may pay $700 for him but it's unknown how long it'll take to sell.

phew... can't imagine dropping $500 on one figure.

MP-41 holds the record for me now at 249.99 or whatever he was on tfsource.

I think this is why I can't wrap my head around collecting Botcon.

Wow. I already felt 100 bucks for a figure was really stressing it and I also only bought those 2, because I had a load of disposable money at the moment, that I inherited.
