Chosen had a great idea and here’s the deal.

I know that everyone likes different aspects of this set and that very few of us like everything. Here’s my proposal. I’ll buy a non-attending package for $265 and the second bagged set for $140 for a total of $405.

You pay me the prices below ASAP plus shipping once both sets are in my hand and ready to ship. These are the prices I suggest:

    Deathsaurus: $66.25
    Buzzclaw: $19.00
    Dirge: $19.00
    Fallback: $19.00
    Ricochet: $19.00
    Chromia: $21.50
    Ironhide: $38.75 ---- for a grand total of $202.50 times 2 = $405

We can also have someone volunteer to buy the pin.

If I can get commitments for each toy, I’ll be willing to front the money. I’d also be willing to allow someone else to front the money if there is someone who has a great, trusted reputation on the board. Any takers?

Gort, you're the man! Hope others tag on to this system.
If for some reason I can't go , I'll pay you in advance to pick them ALL up (or the 140$ bag) , and a little extra for the hassles. Will also pay you for one of those free Thundercrackers that will be given out at the Hasbro booth.

Ah, thanks for setting up this thread for me, Gort. The prices are a bit different from what I had in mind (I was thinking under $20 for the pure repaints, and spreading the difference along the remolds), but I think this would work out just as well. I also didn't think of capitalizing on the loose set as well.

Hit me up for Buzzclaw and Dirge. I don't mind taking the loose versions so long as they still had instructions and tech specs (that's a minor detail that I've never seen answered). Might take the pin, or the comic if it's offered. Thanks for making my idea a reality!

I used these as the starting prices: $25 for Deathsaurus, $15 for Ironhide and $10 for the rest of them. If you guys think Death & Ironhide should cost more because of the remolds, let me know. I didn't take them into account.

I can set prices for the box, comic and pin, but I didn't know how to price them.

Chaos Muffin - I can't make it to the show so I'm just going to order these and have them mailed to me. If someone is going to the show and wants to bring them back - that's fine with me. I REALLY, REALLy want a Ratchet as well so I'm going to need a hook-up for that.

A good, simple way to balance things a bit would be to cut $3.50 from Ricochet, Fallback, and the bugs, cut $1 from Chromia, tack $10 onto Deathsaurus, and $5 onto Ironhide. Results:

    Deathsaurus: $66.25
    Buzzclaw: $19.00
    Dirge: $19.00
    Fallback: $19.00
    Ricochet: $19.00
    Chromia: $21.50
    Ironhide: $38.75

This puts Deathsaurus and Ironhide in line with traditional Botcon pricing on figures of those sizes, and considering the remolds added to them, is actually something of a bargain. $4 for the comic should suffice (yoink!), dunno about the pin and box (best bet would be to keep those two together or just keep them!).

That's just my quick thoughts - I actually had a longer process for the prices, but yours are pretty darn good as is. Plus, mine didn't take two sets into account. Your total for just one set actually cost less because the second set absorbs part of it.

I'd actually be interested in 2 Ricochets if somehow possible. And I will also trade you a SDCC Skywarp for a BOTCON Thundercracker if they do offer it.

Gort, if the figure is still available, I'd like to be considered for Deathsaurus. He's the only figure in the set I would want to have in my collection.

What does everyone think of Chosen's proposed price change? It's fine with me because I didn't account for the mold changes.

I didn't know about the Exclusive Thundercracker and I'd love to get one as well. As I said earlier, I can't make it to Botcon.

Mr. Roboto - I'll put you down for the two Ricochet's, but I'll have to make sure Chaos doesn't want the whole second set.

This is the only thing I am interested in as well. Maybe someone who is going to the con can set up a similar type of thread.

Giving this a BUMP, should Chaos Muffin end up looking elsewhere for a Botcon set or simply goes to the convention.

Some feedback from those interested in purchasing any of the figures would be appreciated, concerning the proposed price changes.

I would say the pricing Chosen stated is quite accurate to previous BOTCON exclusives.

The changes are acceptable. Seeing as how I'm to pay an extra $10 from the original proposal, if no one objects, would it be entirely possible for me to get the box?

I've recently been keeping the packaging of all my TFs, in preparation for a move in the future. I'll defer to Gort on this, pending his decision.

Well that may depend if the box does not contain the bio-cards for each of the characters. If it does then I would want to have Ricochets bio-card cut from it to have.

Of course, Mr. Roboto! I wouldn't dream of keeping someone elses' bio card.

I do believe, however, that the cards are separately printed, judging from the professionally cut rounded corners from the pictures on the site.

I'll let Gort have the final say on this. He seems to be on top of the situation. :)
