I see that sometimes too. My guess is the auction with the BIN of $70 probably was listed AFTER all the bids for the $250 came in already. At least that's what I've seen in the past. What's crazy also is sometimes I see a BIN for a certain price but someone bids on it and the BIN option gets taken away. The final selling price came out to be HIGHER than the original BIN price for that very same auction. Granted, that person who ended with the highest bid perhaps didn't get a chance to see the BIN price or hesitated in clicking the BIN price so ended having to "overbid" on the item.
