You got a problem giving a Canadian fellow 2005 member a discount too?;)

3 hours drive or so isn't bad. All depends on the financials this year. And at this point it's a no on that end for me.

Still about 5.5-6.5 hour drive. I'd like to make it this year. Should be fun.

Hmm... Savannah is about 9 hours (by car) from Lexington. That would be a short flight. Kentucky is probably the closest I'll ever be to a Botcon, considering they just have to schedule the convention during the school year.

I guess the only deciding factors are the shitload of money I'll need to save up, and whether or not I'll be willing to miss a couple of classes near the beginning of my Junior year of college. I'd have to miss my Thursday class(es), and possibly my Monday/Wednesday class(es).

    Thursday, Sept. 28th - Sunday, Oct. 1st.

If this is like last year, Thursday will basically be check-in, settle-in, and pick upi your convention pre-registrant package, if you have one, as well as a chance to get any exclusives NOT revealed until the show itself, and your T-shirt, hat, etc, if you choose to buy one.

Friday will be Dealer Setup, pre-registrant dealer room "sneak preview", and Casino Night, if they do that again. There may also be panels Friday afternoon and evening.

Saturday will be the first full day of the con, with panels, normal dealer room acess, entry for non-registrants who just want day passes (as opposed to the full package with exclusives), and the dinner Saturday night.

Sunday is the second full con day, and things will wind down around 5-6PM inthe afternoon as the con ends.

Again, this is all based on *LAST YEAR*, the 2005 con. There's potential for a lot of changes to be there, and maybe differences in package prices, too. We won't know the details of the pre-reg packages, their prices, and events until the brochures are up.

    Last year's convention info:

    http://www.botcon.com/

Info for this year is still coming, but it should be similar to last year's, as it is the same company running it. Hope this helps.

Well, it is in Kentucky. ;)

Actually, I was thinking just a purple t-shirt with my custom made faction symbol. Like my avatar. Might put "Insane Galvatron" on it like in my sig. Depends on cost.
