Cincinnatti (sp?) is less than an hour away for those of you looking for flights might be able to save money by flying in there instead of the tiny little Lexington airport.

Meh since it's not local I won't be going. Went to the past Botcon held in Pasadena so I hope next year's somewhere close too.

I for one can't wait. Im putting in for my vacation tomorrow!

I wonder what kind of discount we'll get on the hotel.

Anyone know how far the airport is from the hotel?

I feel like I've asked this before, but I thought that it wasn't "main line redecos" that were off-limits, but rather, "molds currently in use," which is rather different.

And even then, Tow-Line was still pretty current when Ironhide and Ratchet were done last year....

Meh. Closer than TX, but still really freaking far. I want to go, but when they're that far away the transit and lodging costs become more than what I can spend in the dealer room and that's no fun.

As much as I'd love to let any board members stay here and save some money, my apartment is kinda small. Couldn't possibly sleep more than 10-12 transfans.. And that's if they all lay side by side in the floor.

Maybe I'll open the invite to anyone willing to have a 3-hour bible study each night. :D  That'd most likely cut down on the volunteers. :D

Yes, I know that. Unfortunately, the emphasis was put so strongly on their mondo packages that very little was known about anything else. Had I known that I could've still gotten a toy (like Ratchet), I may have went to the 'Con. Maybe this year, they'll try to see the forest for the trees and let us "little people" have a bit more info to go on. I have my doubts tho, sorry to say. I've said it before and I'll say it again: All I want to do is go to the 'con, get a toy (souvenir), see the panels and the artsy stuff, and go to the dealer rooms. Yes, I'll pay extra if I must to get in early with the rest of the "Great Unwashed"....but thats really all I want - I dont care about the Dinner, the Casino, and the big honking overpriced overblown repainted resculpted toy set.

If I have that one little simple choice this year, I'm gonna try to go.

Normally I prefer the smaller, fan-made conventions. But since I'll be in Bowling Green this fall, this is a sign from God. I have to go. No force in the universe will stop me!
