Sledgehammer just finished up skinning the Soundwave BotBlox model I did and I have to say he really outdid himself! Soundwave is really looking good. I really like the changes he made to my original design as well. He also finished Shockwave and I'll be posting that up later.

Apart from the lack of battery/radio wave sensor on his right shoulder, he looks fantastic.

You know, I thought I modeled one but I might have forgot to send it to Sledgehammer for skinning. Oops!!

They did a SW lego line, why not TF's? They'd make an awesome topy line. We could even have lego bases and whatnot.

That would be cool. I don't see these in the LEGO line though. Maybe Hasbro's own block building line would be neat. I love the idea of these guys coming with bases (playsets) though. Sledgehammer and I may have to design some.

Hmm, Travelers Tale did do the SW Lego games and they are now working on the Transformers movie game....

These characters would be awesome in some kind of silly 15 minute animation show.

Because they did already - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Built_to_Rule - and they really were not that good. Which is saddening, considering how many fan-built LEGO TFs I've seen that actually rule.

Minimate-type figures like this, though, I might be interested in - especially if you could engineer them to transform.

Honestly though, I'm not all that interested in them transforming. They are extremely recognizable as they are. If you modify them so that they transform you would take away a few key features of these. They are completely interchangable. The only different molds for each character are just their chests and their helmets. Aside from that all characters are the same except for the paint applications. This keeps the price down and also allows you to swap pieces between bots to make your own.
