Here is the latest collaboration between Sledgehammer and I. Sledgehammer totally nailed Bumblebee's face. Spot on. I love it!

I am working on putting something together to show Hasbro at Botcon but I'm sure they get inundated with stuff like this so we shall see.

The problem is that I'm not a toy manufacturer trying to get the license. If I was, I'm sure I could. I just don't have the capital or knowledge to make something like that happen. I'm just a designer. I would be more then happy to do the designs(and hopefully Sledgehammer is also) and leave the rest up to Hasbro.

The problem is that I don't think that's really how they work. As far as I can tell, the ideas need to come out of Rhode Island or Japan, not the fan community. You never know though.

Heck, I'd be more than happy to carry on doing these; the good thing about them is that Primus's designs are so solid to start off with, all I'm doing is putting on the finish. :thumb

And if someone actually were to put these concepts into production (whether it be Hasbro themselves or some other licence-holder), I reckon they'd be on to a winner - they're a great idea for a range of fun collectables that have buckets of potential. :D

You know, I would love to see these type of guys in the 2D medium. I need to get a hold of DON and ask for a quick BotBlox (name will change) sketch.

Anyone else want to give a shot at BotBloc 2D fanart?

Hook it up!! And the official name (as far as Sledgehammer and I are concerned) is Transformers: Blockables. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
